We are happy to announce we recruited a wonderful lady to be our head of fundraising! Carole Barbiere has been a great supporter in The Minicore Project for around a year after her precious Grand daughter was diagnosed with a Congenital Myopathy. Due to her dedication, support and passion to help others we asked for her specific help and expertise with fundraising and she was very excited to hop onboard our team. Charity Lucky Dips & Fundraiser Facebook page is an ongoing fundraising effort that brings people together from all walks of life on a win-win bases. Lucky Dip items can be absolutely anything from cheap holidays, home goods to baby products and at a auction bid of just £1 per number for a chance to win the item, who wouldn't want to try? The page provides a "pinned" tutorial of how facebook lucky dips work for new members to join in the fun and nab themselves a real treat, so why not pop over and get bidding? :)

The "Winter Hill" sponsored bike ride is taking place in Bolton, Greater Manchester England by relatives of a young woman affected by Minicore Myopathy. Fiona Anderson's partner, Mark will ride up one of the steepest hills in North West England, souly on his mountain bike to raise money for The Minicore Project. Family and friends are welcome to sponsor him at just £5. If anybody in the area would like to join Mark on his journey up Winter Hill, entries close on 2nd August 2014. Please complete the form below and donate £10 per entry fee. All participants will be given a t-shirt to spread awareness of Minicore Myopathy nearer the time.
